About the Book
Written between 1999 and 2010, these selected poems take you upon a journey from California to South Carolina through nature, Indian culture and love. Poet, painter and filmmaker Kavita Bali was born in Allahabad, India and moved to the United States at age six. 'Dancing, Creative Souls' (2011) is Kavita's first collection of poems including the audience favorite, 'The Horseman Has Come', a tribute to her grandmother.
