de la Rosa Family History
Historical, cultural, and social contexts of a migrant Philippine family in the 20th century (1st Edition)
by Janette de la Rosa Ducut, Ed.D.
This collection of biographies is divided into three books. The first is the life story of my grandfather, and his experiences which spanned the greater part of the 20th century. The second is about his first wife, my beloved grandmother, and their 12 children. The third is about my grandfather’s second wife and their seven children. Each chapter places the individual within the greater context of Philippine and American history.
Janette De La Rosa Ducut is a happily married mother of 5 children. She's been capturing memories in video, print, and online since 2002. She gets paid to fulfill her dream as the Training and Development Officer with the University of California Riverside, where she keeps people learning. Janette has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from Pepperdine University, which just means that she's not a total and complete idiot. She loves to share the world with others through art and education. Her goal is to leave people in a better state than they were when she found them.
