About the Book
After returning home from each day of culinary school, I sent out an update to family and friends explaining what I'd learned. After completing the program, I compiled my writing into this book. A bit of food history, some interesting tidbits about everything from puff pastry to ice sculpting, and of course plenty of pictures.
This is not a cookbook, but rather a first-hand account of a life lived between a full time job and a part time culinary education, and the giddy excitement of giving into passion.
