About the Creator
My life's always been about observing all the minute details found in everyday life. I remember stopping (at the age of 16) to photograph a newspaper embedded into the wet pavement because of its texture. Basically, anything ordinary can become extraordinary given the right lighting. I've been a professional artist (ceramic sculptor and painter) for many years as well as an art teacher in public school and my private studio. Life for me is all about discovery. My figurature sculptures range from serious societal and political commentaries to purely whimsical, silly characters which are full of emotion. I created this first book "just for fun" and am planning on creating another book after my travels to Europe this summer. . . who knows what the future will bring?!?
