Leaves of autumn are taken by the breeze, freed from limb and filled with morning dew; they collect in blankets to shield the earth from the chill of winter forthcoming.
Born and raised Alaskan, I have lived in Alaska most of my life - raised my 3 boys here, and am now grandmother of 5 and caregiver to Azriel, my Boxer/American Bull dog, and Kitera - black 6 toed cat. During and after raising a family, I attended through correspondence, the Institute of Children's Literature, and in person, the University of Alaska and Kenai Peninsula College as a full time student. I have managed a Certificate of Writing for Children (2002), a general AA (2006), an AS in Digital Art (2012), a BA in Art (2012), and a BA in Psychology (2014). In between college, I attended online, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (New York) and attained a Health Coach Certificate (2013). Currently, while still constructing my coaching web sight, "Wild Organic Alaska" (complements of IIN), I counsel those interested in eating healthy foods. And, since I am now out of school, I can give more attention to writing, illustrating, health coaching and rock-hounding.
