Randy C. Finch was born in Huntsville, AL, in 1955. When just a few months old, he moved to Louisville, KY, where he spent the next 23 years of his life. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he took a job in Muscle Shoals, AL. When the desktop computer revolution started in the early 1980's, his interests shifted, and he began providing computer programming services at his job, which continues to this day.
In his personal life, Mr. Finch has written shareware applications that are sold over the Internet. He has written over 30 articles for computer magazines and has authored a regular column in a computer journal. He has written articles for a philosophy newsletter and has penned a humorous philosophy book. In recent years he has had photographs published in magazines and has had a number of images selected for juried exhibits, some of which have won awards.
Mr. Finch currently resides with his wife and son in Florence, AL.
