Editorial comment for Spirit of Macon:

An excellent picture book covers up the content of a weak story. A strong story book covers up weak pictures, if there are any pictures at all. Only in the category of classical illustrated children’s books do the two come together for success. Spirit of Macon has done what is only been achieved in classical children’s books. Will Rogers did not die in an airplane crash, but is alive and well living in Macon, Georgia. After reading this book, it becomes obvious that the author did not consider a PHD in English lecture. Thank GOD, this book is a must read.

Have you considered getting an agent? I think you have a Best Seller on your hands. How do I know this? There are people in the office that read your book. They left the office crying to go find a church. Our legal department has some questions that will need to be address tomorrow.

I am going to be out of the office for lunch, when I get back from Church we can talk more. – LinkedIN member December 2011

From Cindy French:
Wow, WOW WOW! I felt like I was riding a roller coaster! Your story has to be read all in one sitting-there is no way anybody could put it down and walk away without reading the whole story!

I know that sometimes the comments I get with a blog I have written, people have said, they could hardly breathe or imagined the pain or whatever—but John, to be able to write a whole cohesive book-that is amazing.
