Ministract \ˈmi-nə-ˈstrakt\ - Of or pertaining to that which might be minimal, might be abstract or might even be both.

Ministract is for misfits.

Louis Monteiro, writing in his magazine, dof, defines Ministract thus:

"On [the] one hand, through minimalism, you have what can be identified, what can in a closer look communicate itself and be just that, pure and minimal, even if just at a technical level. On the other hand, the introduction of abstraction in our perception of this same subject, brings into light what is not immediately there, what the viewer [has] to make of it.

"In a world of new trends, the concept of ministract fits like a glove and even though you might not agree with it, it sure sums up what is quickly becoming a photographic technique and an artistic expression."
