I've been an avid photographer since I bought my first SLR in 1980. I love the visual world, with all its refreshing variety. I believe that photography enables me to capture fleeting moments, reflections of life. My business background was in the hospitality industry, primarily food and beverage. It was only natural to extend the people skills I learned there, to helping my photography subjects feel relaxed and at ease.
My second great love is language. A friend sent me a link to Blurb and I immediately saw a dynamic way to put these two passions together. I will have to buy my friend lunch ~ and show her my very first book....(smile)
On a more serious note, I sincerely believe that words and images compliment each other in ways that neither can totally do alone. What a wonderful tool for creating lasting memories!
