About the Book
I have been photographing birds in the Grecian landscape in my spare time for the last 10 years. "Feathers over the Aegean" is just a small collection of those images. Most of the images were created on Lemnos and Lesvos Islands in the North Aegean sea.
In more detail, there are over 100 impressive photos of birds flying, feeding, singing, scratching, or doing something else interesting - these are not plain static portraits. Each and every image has something to say and all are composed with great care.
With each image I have included the common, scientific latin and greek name. For maximum viewing pleasure I have used a faint light-grey font.
I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed creating them! Feel free to leave a comment, thanks!
PS: The preview of this standard landscape 138 page book is only 23 pages.

I first grabbed a camera in '88 and shortly afterwards found myself working as a news photographer for the Blacktown City Guardian in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. After a lot of front pages and other successes for both the Guardian and other publications I decided to leave the fast pace of Australia for the more peaceful lifestyle of my beloved Greece where I have been residing since 1998.
