I have been photographing birds in the Grecian landscape in my spare time for the last 10 years. "Feathers over the Aegean" is just a small collection of those images. Most of the images were created on Lemnos and Lesvos Islands in the North Aegean sea.

In more detail, there are over 100 impressive photos of birds flying, feeding, singing, scratching, or doing something else interesting - these are not plain static portraits. Each and every image has something to say and all are composed with great care.

With each image I have included the common, scientific latin and greek name. For maximum viewing pleasure I have used a faint light-grey font.
