Life of Charles A. Leker (1884 - 1965) told (mostly) in his own words and illustrated with over 100 photographs, some 100 years old. Topics covered: Life on a Missouri farm in the late 1800's; wagon trip to Oklahoma Land Rush of 1893; Park Academy and Park College in Parkville, Missouri; Teaching and Dean at Kidder Institute, Kidder, Missouri; Principal at Guernsey, Wyoming; teaching at Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon; Professor and Dean at the Polytechnic Institute (now the Inter American University) in San Germán, Puerto Rico; and raising three children at an advanced age.


About the Author
