Ken Holland is a multi award-winning photographer. He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, and has been awarded a Distinction from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. He was awarded a national Gold Medal from the P.A.G.B. for the best monochrome print of 2004. He has exhibited locally and nationally, including the prestigious Royal Photographic Society in Bath: his work has been published in a wide variety of books, magazines and journals. He is an Honorary Life Member of Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club: he is frequently invited to lecture and judge at Camera Clubs across the South West & Wales, and has taught City & Guilds courses. He became interested in photography at a very young age, and has always regarded it as an art form. It has the unique ability to capture a brief moment in time. He believes that a photograph should be more than just a beautiful image: it should inform or challenge the viewer
