About the Book
Every person who has ever visited, gazed upon, admired, or dwelled within a garden, formal or natural, experiences a change - conscious or unconscious. The spectacle and presentation of cultivate flora and distinctive landscape design can often effect the senses in wonderful and even spiritual ways.
I, like any individual visiting a location of natural and structural beauty, am typically overwhelmed by my initial viewing impressions and beauty of the whole. As a photographer, I must alter my impressions of the expanse and concentrate on the details and individual items that contribute to the overall splendor and attempt to document the contribution of these objects to the overall sensation and spectacle.
In this image collection, through creative and selective editing and enhancement of my images, I have attempted to create and present a view of the essence of these garden objects and scenes in a way that represents not only their physical beauty but also the emotional, physiological and apparent spiritual essence of these objects and their contributions to the whole --- Garden Visions.
I hope your viewing experience of these images is as inspiring and thought provoking as I experienced during their creation.
