Made famous in the film Brassed Off, the Whit Marches brass band competition occurs every year in Northern England. This is a photo record of the equally famous Foden's Richardson Championship Band retaining the Tameside crown with six firsts, two seconds and a third place. Follow the band members as they compete throughout a damp evening in May 2008.

Specialising in engineering, architectural and project photography, Ian Clowes creates images that go beyond the record, capturing the very heart of any project and most importantly the people that make it all happen. A professional engineer with hands-on project experience Ian can operate independently on site.
Each visit will see the capture of powerful images with a focus on the key activities of the day, but will also include action, people and abstract shots - resulting in images suitable for a range of uses from press releases and annual reports to 'board room' large format framed prints.
Ian's marketing/PR experience allows him to work with you to take advantage of media opportunities and assist with the production of marketing material and press releases or full-blown magazines.
A selection of images is made available immediately following the shoot via a password protected website. A coffee-table style photo book can also be produced, for display purposes or as a gift
