'THE PETE DYE COURSE', is A Photographic Documentary of a Pete Dye designed course by Photographer Mike Gurnell. It is the first and only book of its' kind. World Golf Hall of Fame Architect, Pete Dye has constructed more than 120 golf courses. In 50 plus years of designing courses, The Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Indiana is the first project to be documented during construction. 'THE PETE DYE COURSE' is a documentary of what Pete Dye considers to be, "arguably the best inland site he has ever worked on." It provides a historical overview on how the project got started, and then, hole by hole, it illustrates before and after images of the course. The Pete Dye Course has been referred to as the most breathtaking and exciting 18 holes of golf in the country.

Micheal Gurnell has created images of the natural world and historic sites that has earned him recognition as one of North America's finest photographers.

This book entitled: 'THE PETE DYE COURSE' is a documentary by Micheal, of what Pete Dye considers to be, "arguably the best inland site he has ever worked on." The text and illustrations in this book are based in part on Micheal's previously published book, 'THE COURSE'.
