About the Author

World Gem Society
ISG San Antonio, TX

The World Gem Society has been formed out of a long established group who called ourselves the ISG Community. This was and is a community of grass roots consumers, gemologists, dealers, appraisers and others who joined together through the International School of Gemology programs of gemology study. As we have grown to a world wide reach over the years we have had numerous requests to formally establish a world wide society, based on the foundations of our ISG codes of ethics and fair dealing, for the purpose of allowing more people world wide to become a part of this effort. The result is the World Gem Society. A grass roots organization of plain folks from all walks of life and all segments of the industry....and from all around the world.
