Strange Idea of Love is a song performed by the band All About Eve Babitz. Eve Babitz is the naked woman, who posed for the game of chess with Marcel Duchamp in a photo shoot during the Duchamp retrospective at the Pasadena Museum of Art in 1963.
I took the photo in which I am playing a game of chess with myself in 1996. Then I glued it on the back of the Beauty and the Beast jigsaw puzzle. I created the book Strange Idea of Love because I found it interesting that I was fascinated by slicing the image already at that time.
