Street Cries -Selling with Songs is a make believe story about grandparents and their grandson his Aunt who explore the buying and selling habits they grew up with during the early part of the twentieth century. Woody is also celebrating his tenth birthday.
Woody receives a dose of history, culture and the gift of love. In this book the main character as well as the reader is challenged to remember the street cries of the past and some of the vendors and peddlers who sang them.
