Prior to cryonic reanimation, self-driving vehicles or even before the nanorobots built the first human colony on Mars; a sub-culture existed within the Republic of the United States. During the late twentieth century and early in the twenty-first century, a nomadic clan followed different "rock bands" around the region pursuing a spiritual experience. In a time of harsh laws, "gypsies" used petrol fueled vehicles to travel the countryside; abandoning rules, on a quest for a music induced high. The vehicles were "parked in the lots" next to the great concert halls of the period. It was in these lots, that the group would gather to begin the nightly celebration.
The Historical Society of the Past, Present and Future is pleased to share this recently discovered historical documentary created by visual artist Chris Guibert. "Lot Scenes" is an in depth look into an extinct culture. We salute these special souls that chose to seek the truth, fun and enlightenment in a sea of hypocrisy.
