Born and raised in the UK, I then lived in South Africa for twenty years. Now in the Netherlands, I live on the water in a 113 year old barge. I am the mother of two lovely girls, the companion of one dear Dutchman and the be all and end all of my wonderful neurotic pootch, Sindy. I teach and train students in Academic and Business English for a living, but write for love. I also have three other books published, details of which can be found on my website; www.rivergirl.nu. I am in the process of writing a fourth book, which is my second novel.
