About the Book
At night the luminous light from shop fronts, restaurants and windows draw me in. These places seem like protective, safe environments
in a mass of black.
The door frames and window frames of these environments capture people still, whilst others on the street briskly walk on, escaping
the uncertain darkness. I can’t enter these environments, barriers remain between us. Instead I look through curtains, indoor plants and the reflections that bounce off the glass window panes.
