Southern Pacific Forever Volume 6
A photographic diary of the railroad; April & May of 2008
by Edan Foster
The 6th Volume of Southern Pacific Forever documents railroad operations during April & May of 2008 in Northern California. 440 pages holding roughly 1500 of the best photographs of the railroad as it is seen today. The art painted on the sides of the rolling stock with rare and historic locomotives and fallen flags also being seen tucked into the various sections.
Southern Pacific Forever takes a look in Norfolk Southern's South Eastern United States operations for this volume's Interchange and circles back around to the southern part of California to chronicle the works done by the AUB artist group.

I have a passion for the railroad, some say addiction, but I prefer the former. I've been lucky enough to travel around the country and Canada to watch trains and meet other young enthusiasts like myself. I'm a fan of art and love the country, and todays railroad holds both quite well. At the present time I live next to a large railyard and am fortunate to have plenty of opportunities to photograph railcars daily. So, until I find myself living under the Thailand sun, I'll be resting patiently beneath the California sky waiting for another line to come rolling by.
