Frankly, I've never had a burning desire to visit Africa but this book has changed my mind. The photographs perfectly capture the beauty of the people, the animals and the landscape. The wildlife photos are almost intimate in the way the capture the animal, particularly the eyes and the shots of the cheetahs are especially compelling. The narrative is as good as the photography; the photographers obviously love their craft and the beauty of the natural world. Maybe someday I will be fortunate enough to visit Africa but until then I will have to simply enjoy the book. Mike Mc., Flemington, New Jersey USA
