About the Book
Enrico Piccinini is a poet and photographer from Rome, Italy. His book *Klinamen* won First Placement in the fourth edition of the LOGOS Prize, Poetry Section, in Italy.
This edition combines his poetry and some of his outstanding and unique photographs.
His poetry, genre he cultivates without apparent effort, is as brilliant and impish as he is, and as cultivated. Drifting between dream and reality, the poetic voice calls to the stage of the page all characters, props, and backdrops that populate[d] his life and that still inhabit his deepest depths. Space and place fill with memories and people, various paraphernalia, feelings and states of mind, perceptions and frustrations: a world that is as real as it is imaginary. Stunning how it captures the reader!
His poetic language is unreal/real/dreamy/factual, digging in the metaphors of now and in those of days gone-by: to feel and perceive the depths of Enrico's poetry, we must move beyond the mere word and shift into the realm of dream and epic. Without doing that we would not do justice to this fine and solitary voice – i.e. he lacks company, since his voice is so persuading, so evading, so elusive, yet so cogent and strong!
