About the Book
This Book is my own visual representation of the different environments that I encountered whilst exploring Berlin. A city that I found even busier than London and so instantly drawn to express this through the lens. Graffiti dominates the cities vacant Spaces, from walls to doors, from billboards to floors. It’s the signature of the city and you can’t escape it. While the Berlin wall tends to dominate their history, the memory of the Jews persecuted during World War II lives on. Berlin holds a permanent reminder in the Holocaust Memorial, time and creation consume you in this place. All other thoughts seem to escape your mind. To communicate was all I had left. Ancient architecture haunts Berlin, epic portions of history lie around every corner and within it’s many museums. Each building has its very own story to tell. Although bullet holes from World War II often say it all, the drama was still mine to express.
