In 1998 the photographer Christian Ruhm had the opportunity to accompany the German gothic rock band Dreadful Shadows to Lebanon.

In just a few days more than thousand pictures were taken of which only a small fraction has been published so far.

This photo book provides exceptional insights into an important period of the successful band.

It includes pictures of the concert in Beirut, numerous television and radio interviews, sound checks, official shootings and private moments
as well as backstage pictures, pictures from the recording for their album “The Cycle”
and from the studio-sessions for the artwork.
