A few years ago, I was chatting with a woman, explaining the how and why of my photography of women. I told her about what and who I see in the process of listening and photography. I shared stories of things that I had learned from the women who inspire me. I explained my belief that a woman's beauty resides in many places--expressions, hands, figure, feet, smile, et cetera--and that beauty is ultimately "about who she is." The woman replied "I would love for you to show me who you see in me."
That is what I do. That's what this book is about.
