The hardcover version of the anthology, includes a lovely dust jacket.
You might notice that in the subtitle of this book, we call it a tale. You might also notice that it is a collection of images, rather than words. We’d like to clarify here. Throughout our years of art education, we’ve done more than meet assignment requirements. We’ve worked hard at all hours of the day (and most of the hours of the night) to make images that we’re proud of: Images that we hope will lead us into successful practices, careers, and lives. At times it’s been a desperate struggle to make deadlines, and get good grades. At other times we flew high on the delight and hope (and if we’re being honest, relief) that came at the times when we were finally happy with the things we were making.
For us, these images tell this story: Of the friendships we made while making them, of the hard times and the good times, the occasional desolation and the constant desire for our dreams to come to fruition. We offer up this book as a record and a tale of these times so that we might never forget how we started. We hope you will enjoy it.
