This photo journal documents the mission work we did in El Salvador. While we were there in March of 2012 we build houses, conducted a medical clinic, a dental clinic, and an eyeglass clinic. We toured a goat farm and a sewing center that provide employment. Enjoy the photos and blog that show how a little help from Canada goes a long way in a country like El Salvador.
My name is Sue Neufeld. When I heard about the millions of people that were homeless in El Salvador, I decided we had to step up and do something. Having been involved in the homebuilding industry for close to twenty five years in Central Alberta, it seemed like the perfect way to help. I went on a mission trip in March 2012 to help build houses and to determine what it would take to bring a team of volunteers to El Salvador to build more houses for the people of El Salvador. We have two team of volunteers ready to head to El Salvador in 2013 to do what we can to help. We will build 20 houses in two weeks and do a massive food distribution as well. It will be a life changing experience for our staff of volunteers.
