From the mid 1970s until early 1992, VARIG Airlines operated a fleet of Lockheed L-188 Electras on the Ponte Aerea Air Bridge connecting Rio's Santos Dumont Airport with Sao Paulo's Congonhas airport. This all colour photo 60-page book presents an interesting look at this operation through the camera lens of Vancouver-based aviation photographer and aviation journalist Henry Tenby. A must have library addition for any true, red-blooded propliner enthusiast.
