About the Creator
Donald Hume
Prairieville, Louisiana, USA
Following my retirement and relocation to the Gulf Coast, I immediately began photographing one of my favorite subjects, the birds of the Gulf Coast. I have always enjoyed nature photography, particularly of butterflies, but living in an area with such a plethora of beautiful birds, one cannot resist the urge to capture their beauty. In 2010 I formed Hume Nature Photography with my wife who joined me in capturing the beauty of nature. We are dedicated to capturing the beauty and artistry of nature and hope that our work achieves that goal. The beauty of nature is all around us and our hope is that we can give you a few moments of pleasure while enjoying the great "beauty and artistry of nature" that surrounds us.
