Liz La Point - A Photographic Journey
A massive 300 page hardcover, 12x12 inch book celebrating my muse, model and wife, Liz La Point.
"Liz La Point - A Photographic Journey" showcases our first two years of non-stop work, all three of our Joshua Tree Trips, essays on working together, the best from our site, and many never-before-seen images.
It is a genuine special edition and I am very proud of it. I chose an image from our first Joshua Tree session, as I had for our first book, because in many ways this is an expanded version of our first book.
Though it is a little more expensive than our usual works, I wanted to create something a little bigger and heavier. I wanted a book that summed up our working relationship and collected the appropriate range of images, from fashion to simple beauty; to raw and rough and erotic.
Anyone who thinks Liz La Point is one of the most beautiful and intelligent women alive should own this book because it is gorgeous and offers the most comprehensive collection of images yet.
I grew up in Northern Michigan and have lived in New Orleans, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Fresno, Santa Barbara, as well as ten years in New York City before moving to Southern California. I am an artist, photographer and filmmaker and have worked as an actor in NYC, as well as a director on many of my own projects. Photography was always a passion, but became a profession during the last ten years. Though my focus is on fine art nudes, I spend an equal amount of time on nature and landscapes, and portrait work. In the spring of 2010 I began working with writer/model Liz La Point on several ongoing projects. www.lizlapoint.com https://www.facebook.com/LizLaPoint www.terryosterhout.com https://www.facebook.com/Terry.Osterhout.Photography
