Poetry arrives often unannounced and begs to be recorded and shared. This book provides the poetry of Denise McCormick Baich, in addition to a place for the reader to write down their inspirations as well. For anyone who finds themselves on a spiritual and soul searching journey, this book enables them to have company along the way. Questioning. God and poetry both desire our questioning and this book enables and invites the reader to do so. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go toward assistance in Ghana and our communities here in the United States.

I have dabbled in poetry for many years, but just in the past few years poetry seems to have found me. This probably happens to poets through age and exposure... a patina of sorts. With the ecouragement of my family and friends, I have spent much more time exploring and sharing the poetry that arrives. Defining this is a challenge, but I prefer to call it painting with words and there truly is no right or wrong. Thank you for taking the time to take in my first book of "paintings", my poetry... I hope we meet again soon!
