The Voie du Puy is a pilgrimage route: it runs from Le Puy-en-Velay in the Auvergne to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at the foot of the Pyrénées.

Between 2004 and 2012 I walked it - in five sections. Photographs from among the many I took could fill different books, to reflect the route’s pilgrimage nature, or its towns and villages, forestry, agriculture or wildlife. (“Puy people” - Blurb, May 2012 - contains portraits of those I came across during my latest walk.)

But it's the variety and beauty of the French landscape that recall the Voie du Puy most vividly to my mind. Hence my collection here of more than 100 images describing - consecutively - the "Puy paysage".
