The year was 1899. I boarded the Pacific Coast Starlight and Empire Builder Trains. The adventure between Santa Barbara and Saint Paul was epic. Many characters with stories to tell revealed themselves. The trains also hauled the years most precious goods. As the hours ticked, more and more treasures began to disappear...

Riding by train defines the golden age of travel. It is certainly the best way to really see the landscape change across The Great West. Enjoy!
