About the Book
This book contains black and white images of some of Mexico's most alluring pre-Columbian cities, ranging from the towering pyramids of mysterious Teotihuacán in the highlands of Central Mexico to jungle-shrouded Mayan ruins in Chiapas and the Yucatán. All the photographs were taken by the author during his extensive travels in Mexico during the past 25 years.
I am a freelance photographer and writer specializing in travel, especially within Latin America, a region that I have been exploring for almost three decades. My photographs and articles have appeared in various media, including magazines, books, films, newspapers, and on the Worldwide Web.
