400 years after the Lancashire Witches were hanged, photographer Darren Andrews travels from Pendle to what he believes was Hangman's Hill in Lancaster to record the possible journey the nine women and one man took in 1612. Using 2 homemade pinhole cameras he captures the haunting landscape of the Trough of Bowland and the resulting images are dark and atmospheric yet strangely beautiful.
A 400 year old road trip.
