After thousands of years of providing both medicine and visual delight to humankind, the legacy of Paeon is still very much appreciated both for its utility as well as its splendour. Richard Crack was born in Comox, British Columbia, Canada. He graduated from a four‑year fine art program at the Alberta College of Art (now the Alberta College of Art and Design), in Calgary, earning a diploma in Fine Art. Richard has worked as a draftsman, an audio visual technician, a medical photographer, a graphic designer, and as a prepress technician at a printing company.
