About the Book
Born in New York City and raised just outside of New Haven, Connecticut, Eric was always fascinated by fashion and photography. At a young age Eric was given a Kodak instamatic camera, the ‘80s were in full swing, and all he knew was that he had to be in the business. Photography was so expensive and an unreachable dream just out of high school. So Eric moved to New York City, and on a dare went to beauty school. A hair dresser for almost 20 years he worked in fashion and television styling hair. It was a terrific career, but there was always something missing. Eric had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest photographers in the world, Annie Leibovitz, Harry Benson, Guzman, who were always so generous and kind toward Eric about pursuing his dream. In 2003 he left the hair business behind and began shooting fulltime.
