Second Glance: Photographic Impressions by Michael Pugh
Surely, not another photography book?
Well, perhaps this one’s a little different. You see, there’s not much attempt to get anything in sharp focus. In fact, quite the opposite appears to be the case and the book is a collection of impressions.
Sometimes fleeting, sometimes requiring certain light qualities, and often taking advantage of using the journey time in getting from A to B, there is a distinctive character to all the pictures.
Light appears to be shaken and stirred, leaving the viewer with a sideways glance of virtually any subject that has caught the eye of photographer Michael Pugh.
