About the Book
In the winter of 1997 photo artist Janis Guthy embarked upon a solo journey of the Himalayas. She wandered through mountains, villages, streets and jungles capturing thousands of images of Nepal's indigenous people and their habitat. Images of Nepal Book One is a compilation of selected photographs. This book is dedicated to the indigenous people of Nepal.

About the Creator
Janis Guthy is an independent photo artist who passionately creates unique costumes and background scenes with a magical and whimsical twist. She has been a published multi-media artist for over 34 years recently focusing on blending her art and photography together. She is a graduate from Emily Carr University having won multiple awards and scholarships for her work. She continues her work through private photo shoots, gallery showings and publications. Her art is enjoyed by collectors internationally.
