In 2010, five adventuresome women - and one nine-year-old girl - had the adventures of a lifetime in the Amazon jungles and Andes mountains of Peru. This is their story – fishing for piranha, ziplining, celebrating life with native rainforest villagers, sitting in ceremony with local shaman, participating in healing rituals in the jungle and on the sacred mountain of Machu Picchu – and more.
Over 800 photographs, along with entries from their journals tell the story of their incredible, spiritual journey.
"Some of life's biggest lessons occur when you least expect them - like when a ten year old girl said she only needed one pair of shoes - leave her old ones for someone who had none..."
