About the Book
A couple of years ago I had a short story published in a small anthology and a year or so later had another published in a magazine. I was delighted, as any writer, amateur or professional would be, to see my stories in print but found it disconcerting that in both collections, my story and a few others were the only ones I understood.
I searched in vain for humour or a story that drew me in and carried me along without providing too much of an intellectual challenge.
In comparison, the stories in 'A Mixed Dozen' are light fare but may help to fill in the time in a waiting room or departure lounge
