The National Cathedral in Washington, DC is the people's cathedral. All who choose to worship are welcome. The art that encases the perimeter of the magnificent structure, as well as the glorious images held within, recant historically significant events in the history of the United States and illustrate stories from The Holy Bible. The stained glass windows sparkle like precious gems on bright days and serve to spill rainbows of colors onto the ages old floors beneath them. Lawrence Bradford Saint was a primary contributor to the cathedral's stain glass. His visual interpretation of the life of Moses is a window not to be missed. The book includes information about the founding and construction of the National Cathedral, details in the life of Saint, the life of Moses, and the fine art of making quality stained glass.
My background is art-related ... degrees, vocations, avocations, happiest times. So, using my writing and photography talents to produce books about art, artists, inspirational concepts, and history gives me great pleasure and satisfaction. My web site lists the topics I currently lecture on to groups of all sizes and in many different parts of the world. Take a look!
