About the Creator
Born in New York City in 1921, and grew up in Westchester County; studied at New York University and George Washington; early career experiences at J. P. Morgan and the FBI, and then Stewart, Dougall & Associates, developing interest and experience in marketing research. In 1948, married Margetta, another associate at Stewart Dougall, leaving to join General Foods Corp. in their marketing research department the same year; assigned prime responsibility for Canadian division's marketing research; transferred to Canada in 1958 to establish and manage marketing research department there. As Canadian company grew, responsibilities grew; retired in 1981 as Vice-President, Corporate Affairs. Founder and first President of Professional Marketing Research Society; Co-author of text book, "Marketing Research Management," as well as writer of numerous articles. Authored "The Art of Word Sketches et.al." Became Canadian citizens in 1968.
