A collection of artworks that make up the Johnny & Nikki project.
In this project Nikki Schiro "stalks" an exploitative art collector with her work and sense of humor. She uses appropriated web photos and actual correspondence as source material for (mostly) paintings in which she inserts the collector and herself into one another's lives. This makes for a wild fantasy ride and bizarre journey of exploring private and public "photo albums," art history, and the ways pop culture triggers mass desire and personal yearnings.
