I never considered myself a poet and some of you may agree that I'm not but every now and then something happens and I write down rhyming stuff so I guess that poetry. These fits of verse usually occur when something is on my mind. Massacre in particular came about when I was troubled when 35 people were gunned down at a local historic tourist attraction. One of my daughters had been there at the same time the week before. The Couch a result of visiting my parents when they were rapidly approaching the end of their lives. I added the last verse after they passed away. I have enjoyed doing this small book as it has helped me deal with some of the highs and lows that I've experienced in later life. I hope it is well received.
