About the Book
This is a catalog documenting Niya Lee's show, Dissolution, an ephemeral clay installation addresseing the intrinsic fragility of life, and ever-increasing loss of biodiversity. Clay representations of animals locally in decline change and deteriorate from dripping water, leaving them cratered, dissolving, cracking, and, ultimately, falling apart ~ a reflection of the on-going devastation that is taking place due to our human impact on the natural world around us.
