A native New Englander, Corey Lynn Tucker’s interest in photography began as a young woman. Using her Father’s 35mm Minolta she started capturing her first images with film and as the years progressed made the transition to digital photography. With a firm belief in the beauty her eyes behold, as well as the encouragement from her peers, family and friends, Tucker purchased her first professional camera in 2011. She shoots nearly every day with an interest in nature, landscapes, animals, fashion, cycling and her main love, horses. Mostly self-taught, Tucker expanded her knowledge by taking an off-camera lighting workshop in 2011. Tucker's work is meant to move your soul with feeling, whether the image be beautiful or disturbing. She wants to capture the surreal, the wild, the colorful and unabashed characters of this world. Some of her most thrilling subjects happen to be randomly stumbled upon, often becoming the subject of her conceptual shoots.
